The department is featuring the first-ever 3D archery tournament for schools that participate in archery school programs. The event also includes a turkey and elk calling challenge. “We have a fishing pond with live rainbow trout, where kids can come catch fish in person, try it out, try their luck, and if they catch a tagged fish they win a prize from one of our generous vendors,” said Ryan Darr, Spokesperson for NM Department of Game & Fish.

If you missed Friday’s events, you can still attend Saturday starting at 9 a.m. and Sunday starting at 10 a.m. Children and those with a hunting and fishing license can enter for free. For adults 18 and over, admission is $3.
