Albuquerque woman killed in crash in the Texas Panhandle

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A group of people from Albuquerque was involved in a crash in the Texas panhandle killing one of them. According to Texas Highway Patrol, the group of four was on I-40 west of Amarillo toward New Mexico when the car veered off the road.

They said the car rolled, ejecting 47-year-old Fabiola Ahumada-Castillo who was killed as a result. Authorities said she did not wear a seatbelt. The other three people were transported to an Amarillo hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Texas Highway Patrol troopers are investigating the crash.
