ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Multiple organizations worked together to rescue a climber near Sandia Peak who fell about 15 feet and suffered a leg injury Tuesday, August 6.
HVAC issues return at some Albuquerque schools
According to Albuquerque Fire Rescue, the hiker was able to call 911 around 2 p.m. and reported the fall, but was unable to move from the location. About 70 members from multiple agencies responded. Crews were able to extract the climber and transfer them to an ambulance around 11:30 p.m.
