ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) -The Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department is taking part in the nationwide “Clear the Shelters” adoption event. From August 10 to September 10, city shelters will be waiving adoption fees. The adoption event will take place at the Eastside and Westside shelters, and Lucky Paws located in Coronado Mall.
