ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A brewery is bringing new life to downtown Albuquerque. Thursday, Ex Novo Brewing held a soft opening for its new location on the corner of Seventh Street and Central Avenue. The historic Firestone Building on Route 66 is now home to the new taproom, restaurant, and beer garden as part of an ongoing effort to revitalize downtown.
New Mexico State Fair announces official beer for 2024
The Corrales company received a $75,000 grant from the city to fund renovations back in 2023. “People are talking about downtown and getting excited for what it can become and what it’s already becoming, and so we’re really stoked to be a part of it,” said Joel Gregory, owner of Ex Novo.
The new Ex Novo Brewery is celebrating its official grand opening to the public on Friday, August 9, 2024.
