Albuquerque woman’s body found in the Grand Canyon

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque woman’s body has been recovered after a days-long search in the Grand Canyon. The National Parks Service identified her as 20-year-old Leticia Castillo. They believe she entered the canyon on Saturday. Her body was found on Tuesday, 150 feet below the rim of the canyon.

An investigation is being conducted by the National Park Service and the Coconino County Medical Examiner.
