This is the first fiesta since Barelas Park was renovated last year. “In the past Barelas fiestas, we’ve always had a lot of people. And now that they’ve just remodeled the park, redid the park and everything, we’ve got hundreds of people here,” said Tom Lujan.

The fiesta ended on a high note, with a performance by Al Hurricane Jr.
