Woman accused of ramming into Albuquerque police vehicles held in custody

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Leann Aragon, accused of ramming into multiple Albuquerque police vehicles and injuring an officer, will be held behind bars while awaiting trial.

According to a criminal complaint, APD approached Aragon at the Hilton Hotel in Downtown. Police said Aragon, drove around one police car, crashing into a second head-on and the impact of that crash forced the second vehicle to hit a third. Police said the crash injured an officer who was inside one of the vehicles. Aragon is charged with aggravated battery on a police officer.
