On Thursday, Cibola faced Los Lunas in a battle between two of the state’s top teams. The Cibola Cougars fell 3-1 to the Los Lunas Tigers. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn’t forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.
