“They’re here!” a producer named Amanda exclaimed as the unmistakable rumble of motorcycles was heard from the top of Hamm Parkway Sunday afternoon. A few seconds later, five bikes rolled to a stop on the side of the Española Humane building, and the Moto Maidens dismounted, taking off their helmets and placing them on their bikes. They were in town to meet with staff from Española Humane, but the visit was part of a larger event: A charity motorcycle ride that began in Albuquerque and will end in Farmington.
