E-scooter rentals returning to Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – E-scooter rentals are returning to Albuquerque. The scooter company Spin announced it will begin installing and testing e-scooter stations around town starting on Friday.

Once the program launches for the public, people can rent scooters using the company’s mobile app. Spin operated in Albuquerque once before for a pilot program launched in 2019 but that program was discontinued during the COVID-19 pandemic .
