Sep. 27-New Mexicans might have a smoke filled weekend – smoke that’s coming from fires set by the U.S. Forest Service. Fire managers from the Santa Fe National Forest began the North Joaquin prescribed fire project on Thursday, completing the ignition of 700 of the 1,701-acre area by the end of the day.
