Non-residents start fire in Albuquerque home, AFR reports

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to a fire in southwest Albuquerque late Saturday night.

The fire was reported at an abandoned home on Arizona Street near Southern Avenue just before 10 p.m.

Firefighters were able to get the flames under control within minutes, and the damage was contained to a small area of the home.

AFR said people who did not live at the residence gained access and started the fire. No injuries were reported.
