ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – An Albuquerque Public Schools bus attendant faces several charges for allegedly abusing a high school student. Debbie Chavira, 64, of Albuquerque, faces five counts of abandonment or abuse of a child. APS police started to investigate the alleged abuse at Highland High School on Wednesday morning, Sept. 4.
