Albuquerque police said an officer was trying to pull over a vehicle near Eubank and Candelaria when it crashed into another car. A criminal complaint says three people ran from the vehicle, including Martinez. According to police, Martinez then held a gun to a victim’s head and carjacked them.
A sentencing date for Martinez has not yet been set.
