New Mexico Strange: Prominent Ghost Stories in Albquerque’s Old Town

New Mexico’s diverse, inconvenient, and often bloody history has cultivated an environment of mystery and the macabre for more than a century. Whether you’re looking for ghosts in Albuquerque’s Old Town, little green men in Roswell, or the elusive Taos hum, there’s no shortage of paranormal adventures to take in the Land of Enchantment.

“New Mexico Strange” is a new digital series from KRQE. Through a diversity of stories, we’ll unpack and discuss some of the state’s most notorious lore, as well as discover the lesser-known tales born in the state.

Join us on this inaugural episode as host Chad Brummett sits down with authors, investigators, and paranormal experts Cody Polston and Benjamin Radford to discuss three of the most prominent ghost stories in Albuquerque’s Old Town. We break down some of the history, and some of the legends and leave it to you -our viewers- to decide whether more is going on in the popular hamlet than Breaking Bad gifts and green chile stew.
