Friday’s Five Facts
[1] Storm causes power outages for thousands of PNM customers across New Mexico – Thousands are still without power across the state. PNM reported Thursday that more than 50,000 customers were without power. PNM says restoration efforts are still ongoing. As of Friday morning, the PNM outage map shows over 7,000 still without power.
[2] Snowy storm slowly starts to exit New Mexico – The strongest storm system of the season, which has brought in the most snow and coldest air for many is slowly moving through New Mexico. More snow will fall before it’s all set and done. Unsettled weather will eventually depart late today into early tomorrow as conditions will slowly dry out while warming up this Veterans Day Weekend with snow melt expected for the lower elevations.
