An Albuquerque, New Mexico, public school bus attendant was arrested after she was caught on camera repeatedly striking a student with autism. According to an incident report, Debbie Chavira, 64, is accused of hitting the youngster numerous times. According to the police, between August 26 and September 4, Chavira hit the student 59 times in the face, arms, and torso. According to the incident report, the boy arrived “with fresh scratch marks on the back of his neck,” prompting school authorities to report her on September 4.
