NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – A public meeting has been scheduled to discuss a proposed rate hike from PNM.
The increase would change the average bill by around $23 by 2026. The company filed a rate request with the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission for 2025.
According to PNM, the monthly increase for average residential customers is projected to be just over $11 a month by the middle of next year, and just over $12 a month by January 2026.
