ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Joy Junction Homeless Shelter had to upgrade to a bigger event venue Thursday morning to make room for their big Christmas feast. Needy individuals and families were invited out to the convention center to partake in their annual holiday tradition.

“Everything here is donated. Nothing is purchased. All donations. It’s from different groups: churches, businesses, single individuals, families. They are contributing to all this donating today,” said Joy Junction Executive Director Relma Reynalds.
It wasn’t just holiday food on the menu. Joy Junction was also giving out clothes, toys, shoes and hygiene items.
