Rio Rancho man accused of firing gun hundreds of times in the air indicted on charges

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – A Rio Rancho man accused of firing hundreds of rounds of ammo in the air has been indicted. Police said that last month, Eric Brusstar fired more than 700 rounds from his home near NM 528 and High Resort Blvd.

Man charged with threatening Farmington district court judge

On Thursday, a grand jury indicted Brusstar on four counts of aggravated assault upon a peace officer with a deadly weapon among other charges. A judge previously issued a temporary order against Brusstar blocking him from having any firearms.
