Annual Antiquarian Book Fair held at Balloon Fiesta Park

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Book lovers from all over gathered at Sid Cutter Pavilion Saturday for the annual Albuquerque Antiquarian Book Fair. Book sellers from six western states brought rare books, unique leather bindings, historic maps, and more for guests to look through and buy.

People could also donate children’s books for Libros For Kids. Ken Sanders, the appraiser for Antiques Road Show, came all the way out from Salt Lake City, Utah, to share his collection.

“We all bring our best stuff here to sell and the treasures, it’s just a delightful experience you have to come out and see it for yourself,” said Sanders. He says events like these are disappearing so they are hoping to draw in more interest each year to keep the book fair going…
