NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – PNM crews are responding to multiple weather-related outages in New Mexico Tuesday afternoon. An estimated 6,400 customers are without power, according to PNM’s outage map at 3:55 p.m.
PNM: Power shutoff possible in East Mountains due to high winds
A majority of the outages are in Albuquerque, the East Mountains, and in multiple communities south and north of Santa Fe.
Estimated PNM outages as of 3:15 p.m.:
- East Mountains: 1,600
- Albuquerque
- North Valley: 1,500
- Uptown 136
- South Valley 260
- Los Lunas: 106
- Cochiti Pueblo: 645
- Santo Domingo/Kewa Pueblo: 873
- Encantado (north of Santa Fe): 677
- Santa Fe (near South Capitol Rail Runner): 175
- Near Santa Fe Airport and S anta Fe Wastewater Management building: 110
- Pena Blanca: 330
Other smaller outages are being reported in Deming and Silver City. PNM restored power to 2,000 customers in Ruidoso.
