Albuquerque, NM – A stretch of unseasonably warm, sunny spring weather will take hold across central New Mexico starting Sunday, with no rain in sight and temperatures pushing into the low 80s by midweek.
According to the National Weather Service, Albuquerque will see a high of 72°F on Sunday under partly sunny skies. Winds from the west will remain light between 5 and 10 mph. The real heat builds early next week with Monday’s high reaching 80°F and Tuesday climbing to 81°F. Lows overnight remain comfortable in the low to mid-40s.
Motorists traveling along I-25 or I-40 should be aware of increased glare during sunrise and sunset due to the clear skies. Keep sunglasses and hydration handy during midday travel, especially for long commutes or outdoor activities…
