Nevada wasted little time putting away Saturday’s game against New Mexico, jumping the Lobos for three runs in the first and slamming 12 extra-base hits en route to evening the series with a 20-4, seven-inning win.
Jackson Waller had a career day, smashing two three-run homers and driving in a career-high nine runs while going 3-for-4. Waller’s first three-run homer came in the second, putting the Wolf Pack up 6-0, while his second was in the fifth, capping Nevada’s scoring. His nine RBIs were the most for the Wolf Pack player since Dario Gomez drove in eight runs against Fresno State on March 20, 2021.
