Police search for man accused of pointing gun at Albuquerque Parking Enforcement officer

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police and Crime Stoppers are searching for a man accused of pointing a gun at a Parking Enforcement officer downtown.

Crime Stoppers said the officer was in the area of 601 Central Ave. NW, when a man approached him, grabbed his phone and threw it. The man then walked to a Chevrolet pickup truck, got a gun inside, and waved it around before pointing it at the officer, according to Crime Stoppers.

The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 35 years old, 5’9 tall, with red hair. Police said he was wearing a muscle shirt and dark blue pants.

After the incident, he got into the pickup truck, drove over a curb, and sped away. Officials said the truck had an Indiana license plate “TK8450QF”…
