Forecasters warn that wind gusts could reach 40 mph in areas like Gallup and Las Vegas on Friday, increasing to 35-45 mph east of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains on Saturday. By Tuesday, gusts may exceed 60 mph, potentially causing damage and reducing visibility due to blowing dust.
