ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Bernalillo County deputies and firefighters held a friendly competition on Saturday, looking to find the fittest in the community. Both departments hosted a fitness competition at their new state-of-the-art training academy in Albuquerque.

Whether you’re a fitness nut or someone looking to start, all skill levels were welcome. “So, I do Strongman competitions, we also do some Cross Fit. We thought it would be a good chance to test our skills. We’ve never done anything like this as a gym, so we just came to have some fun and see how strong we can be and see what we can do,” says local athlete Stephanie Eddings.
