ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The medical community is remembering those who lost their lives during the COVID-19 pandemic and the health care professionals who worked to help save lives.

Presbyterian, Lovelace Medical Center and UNM Hospital took a moment of silence Monday to mark five years since the virus first impacted New Mexico. At Presbyterian, more than 17,000 patients were hospitalized with COVID.
