Attorney for Young Park shooting suspect warns against politicizing case

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico (KFOX14/CBS4) — Tomas Rivas, a 20-year-old suspect in the Young Park shooting, is set to appear before a grand jury on Wednesday.

His defense attorney, Thomas Clark, expressed concerns about the case being tried in the public eye and warned against using the incident to push for harsher juvenile sentencing laws.
