Police investigate fatal shooting at westside Walmart

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — One person is dead and others were injured in a shooting and related vehicle crash at the Walmart at 2550 Coors Blvd. NW Wednesday night.

Albuquerque police say there was a shootout at Walmart just after 6:30 p.m. that all started with road rage. One of the vehicles involved was a white truck with an old Suburban on the trailer, the other a black Dodge Charger.

Police say these two drivers got into it on the road and took it to the Walmart parking lot, where eventually two other vehicles pulled up and got involved. They say that’s when people started shooting and the driver of the black Charger ran into three people…
