Temperatures continue to warm across New Mexico this week. Albuquerque should see its first 80° day of the year Wednesday afternoon.
It’s an even warmer afternoon across New Mexico with high temperatures climbing another 5° to 15° above Monday afternoon’s highs. The entire state is seeing temperatures above average with sunny skies and just a slight breeze. Wednesday will be even warmer across the state, with Albuquerque likely getting up to 80° for the first time this year.
A weak cold front will move into eastern New Mexico Wednesday night, bringing slightly cooler temperatures to the eastern half of the state Thursday afternoon. The other half of New Mexico will continue the warming trend. If Albuquerque doesn’t get to 80° on Wednesday, it looks almost certain on Thursday…
