RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. – The New Mexico women’s golf team continued play Wednesday at the 2025 Mountain West Championship with the second round of play at the Dinah Shore Course at Mission Hills Country Club. The Lobos shot 11-over during Wednesday’s round to remain in fifth place at 21-over for the tournament.
San Jose State is the 36-hole leader at 8-over, two shots ahead of UNLV at 10-over. Nevada is third at 15-over, with Colorado State (18-over) and the Lobos (21-over) rounding out the top five.
Chelsea Truong continued to lead the Lobos on Wednesday, shooting a 2-over 74 in the second round to be in sixth place at 2-over for the championship. Maria Garcia is T-11th at 5-over after a 3-over 75 on Wednesday. Rebecca Galasso shot 76 in the second round and is T-15th at 6-over, while Annie Saechueng is at 9-over and Maria Caparros Levin is at 12-over…
