ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Regional Economic Alliance (AREA) is a public charity that aims to grow and diversify the economic base of Albuquerque.
City announces new start date for Unser, Paseo del Norte widening project
AREA says it is important to attract, retain and grow local talent. AREA plays its part by hosting interns including from the University of New Mexico and local high schoolers. AREA encourages all business in the community to bring interns into their company. Current AREA intern Rebecca Shultz says it’s been important that she is able to gain hands-on work experience. AREA has multiple resources for people to use including a live page , which gives people and businesses an idea of what it’s like living and working in Albuquerque and helps them connect with the community. There is also a job board page that provides a real job opportunities.
