ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It’s been years in the making, a multi-million dollar makeover on the west end of Paseo Del Norte is now just months away from starting up at a busy intersection.

Bumper-to-bumper traffic is the daily expectation on Paseo Del Norte and Unser Blvd. “I’ve been stuck in traffic out here, a lot of people have been stuck in traffic out here, and we’re doing all we can to alleviate these bottlenecks we have in the city, especially on the west side,” said Dan Mayfield, CABQ municipal development dept. As the westside keeps growing, a lot of people are ready for a change. “There’s where families, people coming and going,” said Garcia.
