‘Mutt Strut’ to take place at Altura Park on Sunday

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Local canines are invited to strut their stuff at this year’s annual Mutt Strut in Albuquerque. The Altura Park Neighborhood Association is hosting the event, where pups and their owners can enter the costume parade and contests for prizes.

Registration costs $10 and which will go to benefit the group Positive Links, which raises awareness about the connection between animal abuse and human violence. Mutt Strut will happen on Sunday at Alta Park near Morningside Dr. and Indian School Rd. Registration opens at 11 a.m. with the strut starting at noon.
