ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – There have been a total of five fires in Albuquerque’s Bosque this week. The first began on Tuesday with a fire that broke out near Coors and Montaño.
A second fire took place near the first one on Wednesday. On Thursday, there were two fires near Central and Tingley Drive, which prompted evacuations of the Tingley Beach area for a short while.

The latest was Saturday morning near Alameda, which led to police making an arrest later that afternoon. Albuquerque police say they have arrested 45-year-old Sean Taylor, accusing him of starting at least three of the fires in the Bosque this week.
Albuquerque Fire Rescue (AFR) stated earlier this week that all the fires were human-caused. Officials are still investigating which fires Taylor is tied to…
