NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The Valencia County and Los Lunas Fire Departments are warning residents to be aware of scams as the community begins working toward recovery from the Desert Willow Complex Fire.
Albuquerque officials look to re-designate road for city buses
According to social media posts from both departments, a scammer has been going door to door in Los Lunas claiming to represent the fire department and asking for donations. Officials say you should not give money to anyone going door to door for fundraising and if you see anyone doing this, report that information to local law enforcement.
