New 98th and Gibson intersection complete

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The city of Albuquerque announced Monday that the new intersection at 98th and Gibson is now complete. Officials say it’s a modern four-way stop that will beautify the area as well as reduce backups and keep traffic moving smoothly and safely on the West Side.

“This neighborhood is growing, and we want to make sure that the roads continue to serve the families who live here and those who will live here in the future,” said Jennifer Turner, Director of the Department of Municipal Development (DMD). “Major projects like this keep our city moving forward and our neighborhoods safe.”
