Flash flooding possible with showers and storms in New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Flash flooding is possible as showers and storms are set to develop Wednesday and Thursday in parts of New Mexico.

Tropical moisture is to blame for this. There is a 2-out-of-4 risk in areas mostly south of the Albuquerque metro and 1-out-of-4 risk north of there.

The chance of showers and storms is highest in the afternoon and evening hours. It is forecast to persist into Thursday and move out by the Fourth of July. Wednesday and Thursday are 4WARN days in New Mexico…
