Hiker rescued on La Luz trail on Monday

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A woman was rescued on the La Luz trail on Monday, unable to walk. Albuquerque Fire Rescue, Albuquerque police, and other agencies found the woman halfway up the trail.

BCSO starts operation to clear encampments in the bosque

First responders treated her on site, and with assistance, they said she was able to walk out. AFR is reminding the public, especially as triple-digit temps return, to always be prepared with proper shoes, clothing, as well as snacks and plenty of water.
