ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque Public Schools says they are trying something a little different to get ahead of any cooling system issues.
A spokesman for APS told KOB 4 that they can’t guarantee classrooms won’t be hot when kids return to school this year, but it’s an issue they are actively working on.
“What we’ve done to prepare for the new school year is, unlike previous years, our systems have been running all summer long, whether the building has been used or not. We recognize that that is an expenditure.
