Jump In-2 School Bash aiding kids into the school year

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Fifth Annual Jump In-2 School Bash prepared students for the upcoming semester with a fun-filled day. The event, located at the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Posse, connects kids with resources like backpacks, supplies, and haircuts.

Organizers say they hope this can help kids come into the school year ready to succeed. “So here we have a full array of activities for them, we give out free backpacks with school supplies in it, giving them the preparation for the new coming year. But again, it’s really, it’s all about the kids,” says Kiana Yamada, event coordinator.
