ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Fire Rescue is investigating the cause of a fire that severely damaged an abandoned home in southeast Albuquerque. Crews responded to the home on Texas Street just south of Zuni Rd. just before 7 a.m. on Monday.

Smoke and flames could be seen coming from the front of the house, but firefighters got the flames under control within 10 minutes. While the fire did cause damage, AFR said the abandoned home showed signs of burns from a previous fire. No one was injured.
