Crews extinguish fire at a house in northwest Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Fire Rescue was called to a structure fire at a residence near Taylor Ranch Rd. and Golf Course Rd. around 1 a.m. Thursday. When firefighters arrived on scene they reported a working fire in a residential structure.

Crews identified a vehicle in the garage that had caught fire, which then extended to the rest of the building. Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control within 20 minutes. A search of the residence was done to make sure no one was inside. AFR reported no injuries to civilians or firefighters. The cause of fire is being investigated.
