ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – With an average of 310 days of sunshine, a diverse and expansive set of locations, a robust crew base, close proximity to Los Angeles, and a tax rebate incentive, the Duke City has long been a popular destination for movies and television shows due to its distinctiveness. The film and television industries in Albuquerque have rapidly expanded, and the city now offers lucrative creative and technical opportunities.

After the success of productions filmed in New Mexico in the previous decade, large-budget studio films quickly took to the Land of Enchantment, causing a boom in the local film industry.
