Albuquerque man sentenced for 2023 armed robbery spree

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque man will spend 22 years in prison for a series of armed robberies in 2023. According to court documents, Demetrius Antonnie Bailey, 41, and another person robbed Harbor Freight Tools, multiple Metro by T-Mobile stores, a T-Mobile store, a Verizon store, and a JCPenney. The two were accused of using a BB gun, a toy gun, and in one case, a handgun to threaten employees while stealing cash, clothing, and electronics. Authorities said the items were valued in the tens of thousands of dollars.

Albuquerque man facing 45 felony charges arrested

Bailey pled guilty to 10 counts and will have five years of supervised probation once he is released.
