Bernalillo County approves $46M for project centered on affordable housing

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Bernalillo County Commission has approved millions of dollars for a project centered on bringing affordable housing to Albuquerque’s Uptown area.

Commissioners approved $46 million of project revenue bonds last night for the Uptown Connect project. The project calls for 239 apartments to be built, with more than 200 of them being rent-restricted.
