ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A judge sentenced what the district attorney’s office believes to be the final suspect who had a role in the murder of beloved Albuquerque Academy student Jada Gonzales.
Jesse Parra will spend 12 years behind bars for his role in the December 2022 drive-by shooting death of Gonzales. Tuesday’s sentencing came after Parra pleaded guilty in April to four charges, including shooting at a dwelling or occupied building.
