Albuquerque man accuses neighbors of stealing firearm

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A man is behind bars Saturday night after deputies say he held his neighbors at gunpoint, accusing them of stealing his other gun. According to a criminal complaint, 45-year-old Damien Hall accused his neighbors of stealing his gun.

When the victims assured him they did not take any firearms, Hall pulled out a different gun and pointed it at them until someone confessed. Deputies say when the owner of the apartment complex tried to confront him, he shot a round next to her ear.

All occupants were uninjured, except the property owner, who is recovering in the hospital. Hall admitted to deputies that he pointed the gun at them as a scare tactic and “had gone about things in the wrong way.”

Hall is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center…
